Songs of World War I
A special service will be held at St. Nicholas Church, Adare, at 7.30pm on Friday, 9th November, 2018, to commemorate those who fought in World War I, especially those from Ireland, and to recognise the 100th anniversary of the end of the War. The service will feature poetry from the War and both sacred and secular songs, including such well-known favourites as “Pack Up Your Troubles” and “It’s a Long Way to Tipperary.”
